After the considerable success of the first edition of Energy Days Calabria ,6/ 7 June 2006, with over 4000 participants, www.energydaysitalia.it, more than 30 espositori, leading enterprises of the sector, University, Research Centres,ESCO, Credit Banks, the purpose of organizers is to plan a second edition with a larger covered exhibition area in the square in front of the “Museum of Present” equipped with all kinds of exhibition facilities ,offering a stronger picture, aimed at involving all the provinces of Calabria (Cosenza, Catanzaro, Reggio Calabria, Crotone and Vibo). In the attractive rooms of the”Museum of Present”, conferences and other activities to awaken young people and the territory to the renewable energies and climatic change will be organized.

The event will be supported by the European Commission Directorate- General for Energy and Transport, within the Campaign “Sustainable Energy for Europe 2005-2008”, by the “ EACI Energy Management Agency Alessco of Cosenza, by ’ITIS “A. Monaco”by the Province of Cosenza, by the Calabrian Region,by the National and Provincial Engineers Councils, by the University of Calabria, by Confindustria of Cosenza, by CNA of Cosenza, by the Municipalities of Cosenza and Rende, by the Province of Crotone, by the Province of Chieti, by the ” EACI Energy Agency AEEC” of the Province of Catanzaro,by other Local Bodies and Scientific Institutions. The objective is to make this event a meeting point between demand and supply in the energy framework of the Mediterranean and Italy, creating synergies between professional people and enterprises who operate in the energy sector and promoting, both in schools and citizens, the knowledge of the principles which inspire the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign 2005-2008 promoted by the European Commission, whose representatives will attend the meeting.

The Engineer Nicola De Nardi will see the scientific aspect , conferences and training in collaboration with: the “ EACI Energy Agency Alessco of Cosenza (Province and the Municipality of Cosenza ,Confindustria CS , University of Calabria , CAN,ITIS A.Monaco) , Engineers Council of the Province of Cosenza , the Municipality of Rende , Energy Days Italy, Calabria Energy , Province of Crotone, Province of Chieti , Energy Agency AEECC SCARL of Catanzaro, the national network of local energy agencies and other Scientific Institutions . In the attractive rooms of the Museum the following conferences will be organized : - Bio-building and Building Energy Certification - Thermal Solar, - Photovoltaic, - Wind energy - Combined Heat Power (micro and macrogeneration), - Biomass and Biofuels, - Sustainable Mobility - Innovative projects, -Initiatives aiming at awakening professional and young people, citizens and the territory to the renewable energies and climate change.
